Compliance Consultant-Remote (Privacy)

Description SHIFT: Day JobSCHEDULE: Full-timeCompliance ConsultantThis position is open to remote. Critical functions this role will support include Audit response documentation support, Assessment response support (confirming and collection), Monitoring of privacy program functions. Looking for candidates with a digital or data related background and/or are comfortable with technology and a desire to understand or learn more in this area.Responsible for delivering and executing foundational compliance responsibilities that support the team and management at the advanced level.

Primary duties for this advanced level position, with tasks of routine or least complexity may include, but are not limited to: Report, communicate, research laws at the advanced level, regulations, requirements, regulatory audits and/or exams.

Provide support to regulatory audits or exams, internal audits, accreditations, on-site reviews, risk assessments.

Analyze and extract regulatory data, documentation for compliance with requirements.

Participate in compliance monitoring to identify process gaps, validate compliance levels, map processes, draft corrective actions/remediation plans.

Conduct investigations, document findings, update stakeholders and leadership on developments, comply with notification requirements, ensure corrective actions are made.

Qualifications Qualifications:

Requires a BA/BS, 3-5 years of health care, regulatory, ethics, compliance or privacy experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Experience with HIPPA or privacy healthcare experience strongly preferred.

Microsoft Excel

Experience with process improvement, business processes, and business analysis

Ability to work independently

Ability to travel may be required.

Experience with digital or data background is strongly preferred.
