IN-HOME CAREGIVER/HOUSEKEEPER (Central Point)

NEEDED ASAP: I am looking for a compassionate caregiver with experience who is also punctual, trustworthy, flexible, and honest. I am offering approximately 30 hours a week and currently paying $15 - $17 an hour depending on experience with my specific care needs, although training is available for any and all care needs. This is a private pay position through the Veteran Directed Care program. A CNA is preferred but not required. I am a 56-year-old disabled veteran that is essentially a quadriplegic. There is very little lifting required as I use a hoyer lift for all transfers and a roll-in shower chair for all showers. I need care with all of my ADLs. If selected, an application process will then begin which will include a drug and alcohol testing consent form and background check. Normal work hours are 9:30 - 3:30 M - F. A non-smoker is required due to respiratory issues, and you must have a valid driver's license. Transportation for transporting the veteran or doing any errands or shopping for the veteran is provided. We are looking for a person who is willing to stay in this position long-term.
