Dog Handlers (FULL and PART TIME) (Burlington and So Burlington)

Burlington's favorite dog daycare, boarding and training facility, Play Dog Play, is currently seeking candidates to join our highly motivated and enthusiastic team of dog handlers! Part and full-time positions are available at both of our locations (Pine Street and Williston Road).

We are looking for applicants who are hardworking, motivated, and can think on their feet. Must be able to work well as team member, handle multi-tasking with ease, and interact cheerfully and professionally with staff and clients. While no previous experience is required, professional experience handling dogs (vet tech, kennel staff, groomer, trainer's assistant, etc.) is a huge plus!

Responsibilities for this position include (but aren't limited to!):

- Overseeing the care and safety of multiple dogs in our busy daycare and boarding facility. Working with a team, the handler is responsible for the supervision and care of multiple dogs in these key areas: play, feeding/administering medication and behavior modification/training. We will provide necessary extensive training onsite.

- Maintaining cleanliness and order throughout the entire facility. Dog handlers must be willing and able to get their hands dirty! A large portion of your everyday responsibilities include light to intensive cleaning.

This is an extremely fun and rewarding job, but it requires a very high level of mental alertness as well as physical agility and strength. This position requires being on your feet for an extended period of time, moving quickly and being highly alert.

Weekend and holiday availability is required for this position. These are long-term, year-round positions that are available to be filled now.
