We are a local Moving Company that is growing and expanding our fleet!

Applicant must have the following:

- VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE (this position does not require a CDL as we operate vehicles under 26,000 lbs.)

- ABILITY TO OBTAIN A DOT MEDICAL CARD (company will provide at cost and issue)

- NO MORE THAN 3 MOVING VIOLATIONS AND OR ACCIDENTS IN THE LAST THREE YEARS

- ABILITY TO SAFELY OPERATE A 26' STRAIGHT TRUCK EQUIPPED WITH AIR BREAKS

- EXPERIENCE OPERATING A 26' STRAIGHT TRUCK

Pay/Perks:

-Our Movers average $18-$30 per hr. with bonuses, overtime and tips

-Starting hourly pay for Drivers: $16- per hour (raises are subject to longevity with the Company)

-Prevailing wage opportunities available: $45- per hour

-Paid training

-Monthly bonus program

-Cash and Card tips in addition to hourly pay

-Medical eligible after 60 days of employment (Kaiser Permanente!)

REQUIREMENTS AND JOB DUTIES

-Able to lift 50+lbs, move, push, pull, sit and stand for long periods of time

-Ability to climb stairs on daily basis

-Positive attitude

-Great customer service skills

-Must be at least 18 years old

-Must be able to pass background check (5 years)

Please note that this position does require the candidate to perform physical labor; the candidate will be moving furniture in addition to operating a 26' straight truck. Upon hire, the candidate is expected to operate the 26' straight truck as soon as possible. Candidates with moving experience are desired but not required; if no moving experience we will train. This position does require weekend availability.
