Sr Specialist, Electrical Engineer

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced EEE components engineer to join the Electric Power Conditioner (EPC) group at our Torrance, California location.

In this position, you will assist both Engineering and Supply Chain to analyze parts requirements for programs with critical needs in order to expedite supply of parts kits to the production line.

You will also support bill of material (BOM) review for Space programs.

Qualifications :

You should have at least 6 years of electrical engineering experience, with a substantial background in the design of switching power supplies processing up to hundreds of watts in power.

Thorough knowledge of EEE component military specifications, standards and associated Qualified Products and Manufacturer’s Lists (QPLs, QMLs).

Knowledge of component selection, screening and qualification for use in space flight applications.

Knowledge of component failure modes by commodity.

A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or applied physics is needed.
