North Spore hiring Customer Service Rep. (Westbrook)

North Spore is seeking a qualified customer service representative to assist in answering questions related to growing edible mushrooms.

North Spore is an e-commerce mushroom spawn and kit manufacturer. Strong customer service is a very important aspect of our company. We are seeking an individual who is enthusiastic and knowledgable about mushrooms to answer web inquiries, emails, and social media messages.

Ideal candidates will:

-Be enthusiastic, courteous, humble, and patient

-Have past experience with mushroom cultivation or working with fungi (Enthusiasm about mushrooms is also important!)

-Be professional and communicative with supervisors

-Are great at time management and are self-directed

-Have customer service experience

-Have basic computer literacy and knowledge about social media platforms

-Have a willingness to learn more about mushrooms and constantly grow

-Live in commuting distance to Westbrook, ME (remote work will be considered for exceptional candidates)

Starting wage for this position is $15 an hour with room to grow. Paid sick days and one week of paid vacation per year employed (up to three weeks). This is a full-time position.
