Hands-on Care Needed For Loved One In Columbia 6am-2pm Monday - Friday
Hands-on care for my loved one in their 50's, 125lbs, disabled anoxic brain injury survivor.
Full time $13/hour. Looking for a caring and compassionate caregiver who is a non-smoker and comfortable with pets. Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
Most important part of this position is the balance of understanding that he needs to be active and that he will not initiate it because of his brain injury. The right person must be self motivated and keep him moving regardless. This includes daily activities, walks, exercises, and speech therapy.
Private apartment with separate entrance. He's aware, communicative, funny, compliant.
He has memory and mobility deficits and a g-tube for feeding/meds. Assist with everything. No experience necessary. We will train you.
Some light housekeeping also required.
