Someone with a a high school diploma or general education degree; one to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Has the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.

Is able to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, to guests and other employees of the organization.

Has the ability to define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Able to solve practical problems and deal with multiple situations with little supervision.

What You'll Own

Keep store fully stocked with merchandise, and keeping store clean to promote sales and present a clean shopping experience.

Ensure merchandise is properly marked by stamping, marking or tagging.

Assist customer with merchandise selection, finding sizes or making recommendations.

Display knowledge by answering customer questions concerning price, use and features of merchandise.

Attend training by product vendors and team meetings.

Utilize point of sale computer for customer transactions including room charge, credit card and cash methods of payment.

Accept payment and make change.

Wrap or bag merchandise for customers.

Assist guests with bike rentals, ensuring waivers are signed, and bikes are ready to go.

General Cleaning of store and back areas.

Remove and record amount of cash in register at end of shift.

Ability to open and close store.

Fulfill UPS and shipping requests.

Demonstrate proficiency in Red Mountain Gold Star Standards.

The employee must be able to lift and carry up to 35 pounds.

The employee must be able to spend entire shift on feet.

The employee must be flexible in working evenings, weekends and holidays.

The employee must be able to comply with department's uniform requirements.
