The Plant Maintenance Technician / Mechanic maintains and repairs the warehouse equipment and vehicles, including all handling, trucking, and power tools.
Conducts machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance service.Perform other duties as assigned.Perform all repairs on forklifts, conveyors, clamp trucks, maintenance equipment, and other warehouse power equipment to ensure availability and safe operation.
Provide emergency / unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production, and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
Carry out preventive maintenance programs for all machines and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient operation.Comply with Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
Prepare company-required reports on labor and equipment.Maintain a log on the history of repairs by type of equipment.Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse.Conduct operations in a manner which promotes safety.Comply with OSHA and MSDS Standards.
