The Speech and Language Pathologist works as a member of multi-disciplinary assessment and treatment team in an effort to meet the varied needs of public school students. The SLP functions as the direct service provider in the implementation of services to students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) or students receiving Response to Intervention (RtI) prevention and early intervention services. The Speech and Language Pathologist also acts in a consulting capacity to teachers and school staff around the delivery of an enriched language program to all students, with special attention given to the needs of English Language Learners. Seneca is a non-profit organization who partners with schools to provide services and supports to students in grades K-12.
Seneca is always looking for ways to actively empower and uplift traditionally marginalized communities.
