Landscape Foreman (Selah)

Position Title: Landscape Foreman

Wage: $15.00/hr.

Job Description:

A landscape foreman will report to the golf course superintendent and assists in routine manual labor involved in golf course maintenance. Duties include operating mowers, small hand-powered equipment, blowers, picking weeds, and other tasks that are associated with maintenance of the golf course grounds. The foreman will also be responsible for troubleshooting the irrigation system and assisting the superintendent in repairs of the irrigation system. This is a full time position with paid holidays and vacation/sick time.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TYPICAL FUNCTIONS:

Prepares golf course for members and guests

Operates mowers and other small hand-powered equipment

Clean up debris and trash

Helps in project work such as sod installation, plantings in landscape beds, tree removal, bunker renovations

Responsible for hand watering fairways, tees, & greens

Assist in repairing and troubleshooting irrigation system

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS:

Ability to repeatedly lift 50+ pounds over an extended period.

Ability to follow oral and written directions.

Possesses a valid driver's license & reliable transportation

Willing to work Saturday or Sunday and on Holidays

Works well in a team environment

Ability to operate trucks and light motorized equipment.
