CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARDJob Description:Training and Development Specialist, Mission Command Systems Trainer for Emergent Threat, Training, and Readiness Capability (ET2RC) for U.S. Army Forces Command. Implements and operates in-house programs, practices, and procedures for developing optimal utilization of personnel. Designs and administers in-house programs to train all levels of personnel. Develops tests and visual aids. Coordinates class arrangements, conducts training classes, and develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities. Keeps abreast of training and development research: learning theory, motivation theory, and new materials, methods, and techniques. Develops in-house programs and practices to identify developmental needs including preparing personnel for more responsible positions and increasing effectiveness in present assignments. If required, may use technical experts to assist in training.Perform database management.Works to achieve operational targets within job area which has some impact on the overall achievement of results for the department. Work is of limited scope, typically on smaller, less complex projects or task-related activities. Work is closely supervised. Errors and/or failure to achieve results typically do not have a major effect on the organization and can be overcome without serious effects on schedules and programsResponsible for making minor changes in systems and processes to solve problems. Identifies, defines and addresses problems that are not immediately evident but typically not complex. Problems are typically within the immediate job area. Problems are typically solved through drawing from prior experiences or standard procedures and basic analysis.Communicates with contacts typically within the department on matters that involve obtaining or providing information requiring some explanation or interpretation in order to reach agreement.Required Skills:Demonstrated ability to develop, organize, and maintain an operator training focused Training Support Package (TSP) for their assigned system(s) of responsibility that encompasses new operator and sustainment training for basic operator, system integration, and leaders.Experience utilizing official system Program / Product Manager's training products, or in the absence of a designated Program / Product Manager, utilizing the commercial software/hardware developer's technical and training material.Ability to deliver operator level training within a classroom or distributed environment in accordance with established TSPs.Ability to monitor student enrollments and update student attendance and academic reports, prepare records of training activities, student rosters, participant progress, and program effectiveness.Ability to monitor student survey and demographic data for completeness and accuracy.Demonstrated proficiency with the following systems: Command Post of the Future (CPOF), Joint Capabilities Release (JCR), Joint Battle Command-Platform (JBC-P).Achieve and maintain instructor validations within 90 days of starting work for the following systems: CPOF, JCR/JBC-P, and one other primary system as designated by the site lead.Capable of transporting and lifting 50-pound boxes of documents and equipment.Must have a minimum of 2-years of directly related experience.Must possess a current US SECRET clearance.Must be a US Citizen.Desired Skills:Knowledge of U.S. Army organization and processesKnowledge of U.S. Forces Command organization and processesRequired Education:A bachelor’s degree is required but we will also accept experience in lieu of a bachelors.Work location is Camp Parks, CaliforniaThis position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.167788Raytheon is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
