Business Consultant - Healthcare PM

Our client, the largest customer-owned health insurer in the United States and fifth largest overall, is currently seeking a Business Consultant for a 6+ month contract position located in Richardson, TX.Pay Rate: $32.17 per hour on a W2 contractNormal Business Hours – Remote temporarily due to COVID restrictionsThis position is responsible for functions on projects of moderate to high complexity by working with external and internal delegated entities and business partners across multiple functions to align compliance and regulatory adherence and solutions with business strategies; eliciting, documenting, and refining process improvements for the Medicare line of business, specifically Organization Determinations, Appeals and grievances.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree OR over 5 years’ experience gathering and auditing organization compliance/regulatory/asset documents and/or 3+ years’ experience in a Provider Networking or Health Care Management or Healthcare/Health insurance analyst role. Candidates must have proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) in addition to the following:

Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid products

Experience with provider and medical claims data

Experience collaborating with multiple business areas to deliver consistent, accurate, compliance ready reports

Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve procedures

Works independently with a high level of independent judgement, critical thinking and initiative

Gather and document business requirements
