Join Collins Aerospace to help us revolutionize the aerospace industry today!Job DescriptionInvestigates and analyzes processes and system procedures in order to generate reports and manages databases to maximize the efficiency and process capability for Procurement, Planning, and Operations.Generates real-time reports which provide management of internal processes, coordinates tools between all areas of the business, and provides process assessment metrics. Conducts analyses of process characteristics and performance.Assists in the development and reporting of health measures/Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Procurement, Planning, and Operations and routinely provides and reports results to internal resources for action.Assists with data research and identifies problems with process or system procedures, evaluates root cause, recommends corrective action and follows up to ensure that action was effective.Accesses SAP modules relating to MRP, Purchasing, Planning, Receiving, Inventory, and Operations for reporting to data research.Assists with systems conversions via process mapping, design, testing, monitoring activities, and creating Standard Work Instructions.Generates real-time reports for buyers, planners, or operations personnel on process and/or supplier metrics.Develops Access and Excel databases for information management and ad hoc reporting requirements.Supports Lean Transformation events and activitiesEnsures quality product utilizing UTAS quality procedures.Audits work area for safety compliance.Performs other duties as required.Working Conditions: Office environmentFrequent visits to production floor, stores and laboratories.Education / CertificationsBA/BS degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, Computer Sciences or related fieldsExperience/QualificationsAt least two years of experience creating reports and analyzing business results in a manufacturing environmentMust understand business strategies and have a high level understanding of the business flowExcellent understanding of common MRP systems (SAP preferred)Must be proficient at managing and measuring workloads as well as have very strong decision making and administrative abilitiesExcellent interpersonal and organizational skills with ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical customersMust be able to utilize complex problem solving techniques and critical thinking in support of assignments.Ability to work independently and in teams; take initiative and resolve issues.Ability to work and communicate professionally with all levels of the organization and respond to a variety of clients.Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft suite.Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) & Business Warehouse (BW) experience preferredAPICS certification a plusAt Collins, the paths we pave together lead to limitless possibility.
