Job Description
We are looking for an Electrical Designer in our El Dorado Hills, CA location. You will be part of the engineering team that supports the print business for Broadridge Customer Communications for our four factory locations in the US which includes the largest digital printer in North America. Responsibilities- Support the development and documentation for Engineering Projects and the sustaining Engineering documentation support for existing system rework and upgrades due to enhancements and/or obsolete components.
- You will work with engineers to ensure model accuracy on design work and drawings in compliance with ANSI Y14.5, Global, and AWS (American Welding Society) standards.
- You will also work closely with the team using Autodesk AutoCAD and Inventor 2D files, 3D files and rough sketches to create details and layout drawings per instructions and concepts
- You’ll also be responsible for Inventor CAD program administration/training to all team members and documentation processes
- Work closely with team members to execute the client’s needs and expectations, within timelines and on budget
- Coordinate design efforts between subject areas and effectively communicates meaningful project information to team leaders
- Entry level to 2+ years working in the electrical design field
- Preferred Associate Degree or Technical degree in CAD Technology, Engineering or Engineering Technology
- Specific experience with ANSI Y14.5, Global, and AWS (large industrial equipment and processes are a plus)
- Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel
- Ability to prioritize tasks and complete them in a timely and professional manner
- Proven accuracy and thoroughness and monitor own work to ensure quality
- Proven analytical and troubleshooting skills in an engineering setting.
- Strong multi-task with excellent organizational skills
- Excellent written; verbal and interpersonal communication skills #LI-AS1
