service driven professionals to join our team.Description:The AAA Automobile Club of Southern California is seeking a Senior

Big DataDeveloper (Level III) for the Big Data team in Costa Mesa, CA. The ideal candidate will be working with the

data engineers and data scientists to focus on applying data engineering, data

science and machine learning approaches to solve business problems, recommend

improvements and execute on the enterprise data strategy.The ideal candidate should be able to

work in a project team along with data scientists to develop data pipelines

capable of handling complex data sets quickly and securely as well as

operationalize data science solutions. The ideal candidate will be seasoned in

utilizing big data sets and should be able to help the data scientists to

develop a wide variety of data products and convert their analytical models

into fast, efficient, scalable, and production-ready solutions.Qualifications:Senior developers need to able to think outside the box and

understand the bigpicture thought process with an ability to communicate clearly to

business owners. In addition to these skills, the following qualifications;

Bachelors or Master's Degree with anemphasis on Computer Science or Information Systems

Experience as a technical developer ora data engineer

Experience working with relationaldatabases, MPP systems and Hadoop distributions

Able to think outside the box andunderstand the big picture thought process

Ability to communicate clearly tobusiness owners

Highly proficient in SQL to includeschema design, database definition, and advanced querying

Experience with Hadoop (HDFS, Sqoop,Hive, Spark, Kafka etc.) required

Working experience with oneprogramming language like Java or Python is required

Working experience with Unix/Linux-Experience working with cloud data platforms and products a plus

Experience with Control-M is desired

Experience with Tableau and R is aplus

Data Mining/Data Warehousing/BusinessIntelligence experience a plus.
