Sailing Instructors Needed (Key Largo)

The Mark Sorensen Youth Sailing Program (MSYSP), located at the Upper Keys Sailing Club at MM100, is looking for 2-3 part time sailing instructors to help teach sailing and racing to youth sailors. Knowledge of Optimist and C420 sailboats is strongly preferred but we'll take hard-core sailors. US Sailing Level 1 Certification also preferred but not required. We will gladly pay for certification for the right candidate(s) willing to make a long-term commitment. We can work our practice schedule around YOUR schedule. Weekdays after school and any time on weekends are doable for us. MUST LOVE being around kids and teens and having the patience to deal with them. No screaming or grumpy instructors allowed. While we do focus on proper boathandling and racing tactics, we're all about making the sport of sailing FUN for kids. MSYSP is a 501 c(3) non-profit organization committed to empowering youth through sailing and making the sport affordable and accessible to Florida Keys' kids and teens of all backgrounds.
