Major Duties:
· Gather and organize packing slips and receivers, assign packing slips to invoices and work with project managers on any missing information
· Scan and then enter all invoice information to accounting system. Verify vendor information, sales/use tax and project exemption status, job number, coding and pricing
· Compare and enter material prices and quantities to Purchase Orders through accounting system. Make project managers aware of discrepancies and work with vendors to resolve issues
· Submit invoices to project managers for approval.
· Take vendor calls/emails and work with accounting department on payment status of invoices.
· Answering office phones and greeting guests.
· Job filing duties of AP, AR and contract documents
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Basic accounting experience preferred
· Exceptional organizational skills, time management skills and a self starter
· Detail oriented and ability to self-audit work to ensure accuracy
· Knowledge of Microsoft office (word, excel, Adobe, etc.)
· Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems
