Job Description

This internship will be partially remote but the hired applicant will be expected to come into the Mount Prospect office. Only local applicants will be considered.

This is an exciting opportunity where you can apply what you are learning in the classroom to a high performing marketing organization. You will make an impact on the business and work on exciting marketing projects that will help as you start you marketing career!

Work with the B2B marketing team in a variety of ways, you'll get experience working with our retail, online, and industrial accounts. Partner with outside vendors to create visual merchandising in-store and online while implementing design updates, managing inventory, and costs. Support eCommerce branding consistency through auditing retailer sites. Leveraging online assets with Brand Manager in effort to align all retailers to brand standards.

Omni-Channel Merchandising: Support the execution of visual merchandising, this includes: special executions, promotional products and temporary merchandising for distribution and key accounts. Assist in finding synergies with in-store marketing efforts and online opportunities.Manage relationships with multiple internal and external teams to ensure marketing campaigns are executed correctly.

Project Management: manage multiple projects, track and organize all activities in order to allow for quick reference by management to gauge overall program Return on Investment.

Other responsibilities include general team support, and special marketing team projects. Excellent opportunity to learn marketing principles and execution in a fast-paced marketing organization.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited marketing program, or graduated within the past six months
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Able to manage multiple projects at a time
  • Contribute to a positive & energetic environment
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Maintain professional standards in sales & customer relationships
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug and background check
  • Position only open to applicants who will not now, nor in the future require sponsorship to work in the US
