Certified Nurse Assistant - Full Time Nights - Summit Campus

Position Overview:Alta Bates Summit Medical Center is San Francisco East Bay's largest private, not-for-profit medical center with a total of 1,082 licensed beds. Each of our campuses has 24-hour emergency, obstetric and medical/surgical services in both Oakland and Berkeley. Performs routine data collection, and assists in maintaining a clean and safe environment.Qualifications:Education: High School graduate or equivalent. Or an equivalent combination of education and recent work related experience required.Experience: One year of acute care experience preferred.Licensures and Certifications: Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA required. Basic Life Support Certification - BLS required.Skills and Knowledge:Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. Ability to provide basic patient care to a diverse patient population group. Demonstrates a customer- service oriented attitude. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and employees. Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
