United States of AmericaJob ID: 202009-123150Download PDFApply For This JobReturn to Search ResultsThe PositionThe In Vitro ADME group is seeking a talented and organized Associate Scientist / Scientist to join the Small Molecule DMPK Department at Genentech. The successful candidate would oversee study design and generation of in vitro ADME data to support regulatory filings. They will have a strong experimental background with hands on experience of in vitro ADME assays and technical problem solving. They would work with our established team to deliver data and guidance to projects in our discovery and development portfolio that includes oncology, cancer immunology, neuroscience, immunology, and infectious disease targets. Qualifications:

PhD/MSc/BSc in Biological Sciences/Chemistry/Pharmaceutics or related field required. 1-5 years of relevant ADME pharma/biotech industry experience for PhD, >8 years for MSc/BSc.

Strong understanding of drug metabolism and ADME principles including enzyme kinetics, IVIVE and DDI risk assessment is needed.

Curiosity, critical thinking and ability to learn quickly will be critical.

Experience with a variety of in vitro ADME assays with LC-MSMS endpoints including but not limited to CYP inhibition, CYP induction, reaction phenotyping and plasma protein binding preferred.

Experience in writing and reviewing in vitro reports for regulatory filing is highly desired.

Experience supporting and influencing projects with in vitro data describing metabolic stability, protein binding and DDI potential would be ideal.

Experience with automation and liquid handling systems would be a plus.

Advanced cell culture techniques (co-culture, MPS etc.) would also be a plus.

Must be highly motivated, organized and detail oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
