Overview

Functions as a direct patient caregiver performing tasks to assist registered nurses. Performs hands-on care, assistance with ADL?

s and specified technical tasks for a group of patients under the supervision of the Team Leader. C.N.A.?s are not allowed, by practice standards, to perform any invasive procedure or any application of topical medications.

Responsibilities

Nursing Home / Long Term Care experience preferred. Medical terminology a plus. Must be able to operate computer and possess excellent interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

Minimum Education : High School Diploma or equivalent. Completion of a course of study that provides basic nursing skills and the advanced skills required.

Licensure Requirements : Certification as a C.N.A., CPR is required. Physical Requirements : Type F
