With over 40 years of semiconductor process control experience, chipmakers around the globe rely on KLA to ensure that their fabs ramp next-generation devices to volume production quickly and cost-effectively.
Enabling the movement towards advanced chip design, KLA's Global Products Group (GPG), which is responsible for creating all of KLA’s metrology and inspection products, is looking for the best and the brightest research scientist, software engineers, application development engineers, and senior product technology process engineers.
The RAPID division is the world leading provider of reticle inspection solutions for the semiconductor industry. The company provides inspection solutions to both the mask shops and the semiconductor fabs to ensure that lithography yields are consistently high thus enabling cost-effective manufacturing.
Responsibilities
Work in a world-class engineering team to manage the electrical engineering group for development of the next generation inspection tool.
Job duties and responsibilities include but not limit to :
Manage a team of highly skilled electrical engineers with expertise in design of digital electronics, sensors and image acquisition, advanced FPGA design, signal integrity for PCB and cables
Work with system engineers and other functional / subsystem leaders to define electrical system / subsystem design specifications
Manage EE team to define sensible electronics architecture for the next generation product;
Responsible for EE schedule and budget management, task prioritization
Manage external vendors or contractors to deliver subsystems that meet design specification and reliability targets
Integrate and test subsystems
Review test plans and results to shorten development time
Qualifications
MS or Ph.D. in electrical engineering or equivalent field with 10+ year experience in digital electrical PCB design - experience must be in discrete component circuits - IC design not sufficient
Understanding of optics design is desired
Understanding of high precision motion control systems is highly desired
Experience in semiconductor equipment industry is preferred
Strong diagnostic skills and capable of resolving electrical noise, grounding, and signal integrity issues
Proficient with Microsoft product tools (Excel, MS project, PowerPoint, Word and Visio)
Prior experience with electronics design CAD tools, preferably OrCAD
Team player with good writing and verbal communication skills.
Minimum of 5 years experience in functional or project management
Minimum Qualifications
Doctorate (Academic) with at least 5 years of experience. OR Master's Level Degree with at least 8 years of experience. OR Bachelor's Level Degree with at least 12 years of experience.
