We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to own the product vision and roadmap for our Conversation Management area. The Conversation Management area encompasses the tools and capabilities associated with our AI Assistants’ ability to converse, make decisions and take actions.
The person will identify and prioritize specific product requirements; and work alongside our Engineering and technical Product teams in Washington state in developing and launching new features to support our Conversational AI capabilities.
Additionally, he or she will be responsiblefor working closely with new and existing customers to understand new product needs.
The role can be based in either Foster City, CA or Seattle, WA.
Responsibilities :
Own the product vision and strategy for the Conversation Management area, ensure alignment with overall product and company vision
Serve as an internal advocate for our customers, bringing their voice into the product development process, including collecting customer feedback on product needs, and understanding customer, competitor and industry trends
Manage the Conversation Management roadmap, understanding and making the necessary trade-offs, based on feedback from customers, competitors and internal stakeholders
Act as the general manager of the Conversation Management area, seeing changes through from conception to successful deployment
Analyze internal data from multi-variate tests and other sources. Make recommendations for improvements to product, pricing, and operations based on findings
Communicate and work across teams, bringing together and ensuring alignment with development and stakeholdersDesired Skills and Expertise
Two to five years’ experience in product management in a Conversational AI technology company preferred, other backgrounds in roles with significant analysis, project management and deadline driven components considered
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, statistics, mathematics or related field preferred
Experience in scaling machine learning (particularly NLP or NLG-based) applications
Self-motivated, proactive team player with innovative ideas
Experience with Agile development process a plus
Critical thinker and skilled problem solver
Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
Strong interpersonal skills and experience initiating and building strong relationships internally and externally
Professional demeanor, able to manage situations with competing demands
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Knowledge and experience working with Salesforce preferred
Strong individual and group presentation, written, and oral communication skills
