Warehouse Packers-PM Shift Now Hiring (Abilene)

SUMMARY OF WAREHOUSE PACKER:

Manufacturing facility in Abilene, Texas, is seeking Warehouse Packers who will be responsible for packing quality products into boxes for shipments.

REQUIREMENTS OF WAREHOUSE PACKER:

High School Diploma or GED.

Writing and computation skills normally acquired through the completion of high school.

Manual dexterity, continuous standing, frequent walking, continuous grasping and repetitive hand motions and sight adequate to see defects.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted

Hair nets and eye protection required, exposure to noise requiring hearing protection.

Ability to withstand extreme temperatures during summer months.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF WAREHOUSE PACKER:

Checks finished product for quality issues, as it comes off of the conveyor.

Packs plastic containers and lids of various sizes into boxes.

After packing containers, he/she will pass the box to the Tape Machine.

Responsible for keeping the work area clean.

Erects and labels boxes as needed.

Grinds poor quality product.

Re-packs product as needed.

Clean inside and outside of the machinery.

Other duties may be assigned.

SCHEDULES & PAY RATES OF WAREHOUSE PACKER:

7:00 pm- 7:30 am

$10.75 /hour
