over a decade in beautiful Humboldt County, CA. We are looking for dedicated & hard-working individuals to join our growing team in the Sales and Marketing Department. As a leader in both the Hydroponic and Independent Garden Center industries, Royal Gold sets the standard for quality and consistency with our products and our customer service.
SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER/ MARKETING ASSISTANT
Main Responsibilities
● Creates content and crafts posts for multiple Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and youtube accounts.
● Answer and redirect questions from social media platforms to appropriate team members.
● Interact with social media platforms on posts regarding RG (i.e like, comment, share, etc) including real-time posts of content to live stories.
● Compiles, develops and presents monthly website and social media analytic reports from all social media platforms.
● Uses Google and Yelp to place photo reviews of our retail partners that are tagged for SEO.
● Maintains and builds company/customer email list.
● Crafts and emails quarterly newsletter.
● Updates the backend of the Royal Gold & Royal Grown Radio website with new content.
Required Skills
● Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
● Strong attention to detail with grammar, tone and aesthetic.
● Ability to communicate information to appropriate team members while documenting information and/or communication in a clear, concise, and accurate manner.
● Creative soul with a passion for creating content across a wide variety of subjects.
● 1+ years of experience in a social media content creation role, managing multiple accounts.
● Deep understanding of social media management tools and analytics.
● Proactive, sense of responsibility, friendly and available to work independently.
● Have demonstrated organization, multi-tasking, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
● Team player, motivated, enjoys working in the Gardening and Sales/Marketing industry.
● Positive attitude and business-focused.
● Intermediate computer skills with proficiency in MS Office and Adobe CS. Word press and web
development skills are helpful.
● Valid driver's license.
Education/Experience
● High school diploma, GED or equivalent required. Communications, Marketing, or similar Creative
Bachelor/ Associates Degree preferred. Will consider candidates with equivalent experience.
Salary
● $35,000-55,000 per year or hourly equivalent DOE
