Seeking Intern(s) and one paid intern positions (DC Metropolitan Area)

We encourage candidates both in the academic and community development areas to submit your application today to work with an organization in efforts of combatting Human Sex Trafficking, empowering young girls and women through entrepreneurship, and providing great opportunities in the fashion and beauty industry through our network and platforms.

WE seek highly qualified students who meet our qualifications. Students will take on key leadership positions in shaping our anti-trafficking movement. Applicants can be in various fields, including international studies, civil and labor law, fashion and beauty, and/or other areas. We will interview all applicants.

You must provide all necessary paperwork from educational institutions if an intern is seeking academic credit. Accepted interns will complete a minimum of 135 hours/180 hr per semester, depending on credits seeking. We are taking applications now for the Fall semester: Spring (February-April), Summer (June-August), or Fall (September-November).

Note: This is an unpaid internship, but stipend(s)/compensation could be provided based on experience and productivity (performance-based activities).

Interns are a critical part of our success. Every intern will be put in a position to add value to our overall objectives. There is so much work that can be done in the area of human sex trafficking such as organizational management, fundraising, communications, research, establishing key partnerships, and building a global network. Interns will accompany to our events - both stateside and abroad.

Support office staff

File/organize documents, as requested

Answer phones, take messages

Assist with ongoing social media outreach and campaigns

Assist with onsite, live social media marketing at events

Provide set-up/breakdown support at events

Conduct background research on a number of topics, as assigned

Assist with selling services and produces (make calls, send emails, etc.). Interns will receive a commission on all direct sales.

Photographers need for model shoots and for various events, as assigned

Videographers needed for creative content, scripts, and videography support for the media channel and for various events

Business development (including pitch presentations, sponsorships, partnering initiatives, and PR/Communication strategies).
