Diesel MechanicMON-FRI + ALT-SAT $21-$25 hr BOE (Gretna)

Carleton Transport, located just outside Omaha in Gretna, NE is looking for a Diesel Mechanic for our Monday through Friday day shift with alternating Saturday morning shifts of 7am-12pm approximately. In this role the successful candidate will perform tractor trailer repair and maintenance work in accordance with factory and industry standards and run diagnostics on trucks and trailers.

Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostics, preventative maintenance and repairs on tractors and trailers

Communicate and coordinate repairs with Shop Manager and other team members

Keep work space clean

Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures

Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

1+ years of fleet maintenance experience

Must possess basic tools and toolbox

Excellent reading and writing skills
