GLOBE SALON: Front Desk / Salon Coordinator | $11-$15/hr (Summerlin)

Globe Salon is actively recruiting to fill a Front Desk / Salon Coordinator position within our Summerlin location (although flexibility with either location is helpful). OUR SALON: Globe Salon is a locally-owned, guest-focused hair salon, twice honored with Elle Magazine's Top 100 Salons In America designation. We have been serving Las Vegas since 2000, successfully establishing ourselves as the respected go-to salon for a local VIP clientele. We have a boutique salon in the Downtown Arts District, and a salon in Summerlin at the Rampart Commons lifestyle center.

THE POSITION: More than a salon receptionist position, our Front Desk Coordinator must confidently manage our Front Desk and associated responsibilities with a sincere smile. Ideal candidates must be friendly, outgoing, multi-tasking guest service superstars! This position requires exceptional guest service and telephone skills, and is for the very detail-oriented, responsible, reliable and self-motivated only. You must be able to confidently handle multiple demands at once, as you are responsible for managing guest flow, booking appointments, engaging with vendors, supply ordering, and more. Guest service, personality, aptitude and attitude are all equally important, as is an interest in beauty and style. EXPERIENCE PREFERRED: Upscale salon/spa front desk experience is preferred, with salon management & booking software (we use STX) a plus. Those without STX experience must be quick learners! Additional preferred experience includes hospitality/restaurant FOH, retail sales, cash & credit card POS transactions, and inventory management. Instagram / social media savvy is a plus!
