Marina Yard Assistant (Hampton Beach, NH)

Hampton River Marina, located in Hampton Beach, NH has an immediate opening for a yard assistant having the following skills and qualifications:

Responsibilities:

Hauling, launching and storing customer vessels on Marina grounds

Maintaining buildings, docks, common areas and parking lots

Maintaining equipment and facilities used in operations

Keeping grounds and docks free and clear of refuse and extraneous materials

Enforcing customer code of behavior on Marina property

Demonstrating high personal standard of appearance and conduct

Observing all Company employment policies

Qualifications:

Prior customer service experience

High school diploma

Knowledge of minor troubleshooting skills in carpentry, plumbing, electrical

Experience with basic tools

Valid drivers license

Ability to prioritize time and projects

Be able to stand for long periods

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Ability to lift, bend, squat and move in a variety of positions

Work typical retail hours and days

Special considerations

Prior marine business experience (boatyard, commercial fishing, etc)
