DescriptionOfficeTeam is seeking an HR Manager for a well-established Non-Profit in East County, San Diego! This is a tight-knit group who really cares deeply about the organization's mission.The ideal candidate will have experience processing payroll, managing a team, and strong understanding of labor law and compliance.This is an in-office position, that is temporary or temporary to hire:As the HR Manager, you will:
Oversee a team of 2
Manage overall recruiting process for all open reqs
Manage compensation and payroll processing in compliance with wage and hours laws
Work closely with Accounting and Finance to process payroll
Monitor COVID 19 and safety protocols for office and staff
Continued COVID 19 protocol, procedure, and policy review
Maintain employee safety OSHA reporting
Must have understanding of labor and wage compliance
Benefit administration, retirement, and pension plans
Ensure new hires and personnel files are fully up to date, and proper licensing is in compliance
Heavy compliance review and maintenance
Employee relations, ability to manage investigation process
Oversee overall HR department, process, procedure
Collaborating with departments regarding hiring and staffing needs
RequirementsThe ideal candidate will have:
Passion for non-profit and the organization's mission
Experiencing managing an HR team
High level of empathy, compassion
Must have payroll processing experience
HR management experience
