Preschool Teacher (Escondido)

TLC preschool is looking for a motivated Preschool Teacher who is a team player with a great personality. The right person must take genuine pride in the progress of children and the desire to help them grow and develop. Someone who is able to take care of day to day operations and help improve our school.

Job Overview

Teacher:

Ensure the safety and supervision of a group of children 2 - 5 years of age at all times

Provide positive behavior guidance that supports the developmental, social-emotional, and physical needs of all students

Assist in the planning and preparation of the creative learning environment, establishment of interest centers, and preparation of needed material and supplies

Effectively communicate, in a timely manner, with parents/guardians to create and foster a positive relationship

Record and monitor the daily activities of children in your care

Must be able to create plan of action for (any problems that arise)

Understand and articulate Company brand philosophy, core values, and selling points of curricula

Requirements

Teacher:

Meet the California State Dept. Of Education Office of Child Care requirements to lead child care programs for infants/toddlers or preschoolers (ages 2-5)

Must meet all quality rating standards as it relates to education and experience as set forth by the state and accreditation agent.

Must have a minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Early Elementary or related field.

Must have at least two (2) years of experience in an early childhood program with at least two (1) years as a lead teacher.

At least (1) year Teacher experience
