BAI, a defense contractor, is seeking a qualified Full Stack Java Developer to support current and evolving Naval Air mission planning, at Point Mugu Naval Base in Camarillo, CA.

Responsibilities

Develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs.

Analyze user needs and develop software solutions.

Design software or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.

May analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.

May supervise computer programmers.

Working at the customer's site with government personnel to ensure program success.

Qualifications

Over 10 years of experience performing the duties described in the functional description.

3 years’ experience with SQL.

3 years’ experience with Java / C#.

2 years’ experience with Docker, micro-services, ReactJS, and Javascript.

2 years’ experience with JIRA, Jenkins, Maven, and Jama.

2 years’ experience with HTML and CSS.

2 years’ experience with Agile Development.

2 years’ experience with Git.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills verbal, non-verbal, written, and listening for staff, customer and organizational level communications, both formal and informal.

Ability to work independently; self-starter.

Working knowledge and use of Microsoft Office suite programs, MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

Desired experience :

Confluence, and Bitbucket

Spring or Java EE.

AMQP(RabbitMQ).

Java ORM such as Hibernate.

Microservices architecture.

Restful web service.

AWS Amazon Web site services / Cloud services.

Visual Studio.

Scaled Agile.

Comfortable with Linux.

Education :

MS or MA degree in a Computer or Information Science field or a relevant technical discipline.

ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION : Bachelor’s Degree plus 4 years additional work experience may be substituted for a Master’s Degree.

Clearance :

Condition of employment - must have a DoD Top Secret Security Clearance.

Citizenship :

The applicant must have US citizenship at time of application.
