This firm invests in the world’s leading technology, technology-enabled and related growth businesses.Tax Manager: This is a newly created position that will report to the VP. Some of the work for this person includes but not limited to: Manage quarterly and annual tax compliance Manage day-to-day relationship with outside tax compliance firms including review of federal and multistate partnership and corporation tax returns and distribution of K-1s Prepare quarterly and annual tax estimates for Managing Partners, GPs, and management companyRequirementsThe ideal Candidate is someone who has no ego, willing to learn and contribute with the team, and wishes to help grow the company: CPA is a plus 5+ years of public accounting tax experience with private equity or venture capital clients Partnership taxation experience, knowledge of tax allocations, understanding of waterfall allocations Intelligent and ability/willingness to learn/strong work ethic/detail orientedWhy work here: Candidates are able to gain exposure on both accounting & tax areas within the funds via their daily work Great benefits: company pays 100% health insurance Highly competitive benefits and perks Free food: breakfast, lunch and dinner Gym reimbursement: 50% to $100 a month.
