Klayvio Marketing Specialist (Irvine)

We are a fast-paced and growing e-commerce start up looking for an experienced Klaviyo expert who is highly collaborative and a friendly teamplayer to join our growing digital marketing team. In this role you will be responsible for auditing our current email marketing efforts, and then building and executing strategies specifically for Black Friday in addition to driving customer revenue, subscriptions and loyalty. You will create and implement multiple segmentation strategies, deploy tools and tactics to manage those segments, and assist our marketing manager with deploying and testing segment specific cross-channel initiatives. In addition, our Klaviyo expert will work closely with our social media and creative teams.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Ownership of email marketing program using Klaviyo

Build upon existing marketing campaigns

Creat new campaigns and implementing them

Define email marketing goals including measurable KPI’s.

Create email strategies that fit within the company’s overall marketing strategy.

Work with the marketing team including social media to build and manage email marketing calendars

Create and manage customer segments

Work with creatives to develop needed email assets.

Create and execute testing strategies in the interest of driving continuous improvement

Responsible for email list management including list maintenance

Create and execute email acquisition strategies including both on and off-site tactics

Create and execute programs focused on conversion rate improvements from email

Working on landing page experiences

Required Skills & Experience

Must be highly knowledgeable and have hands-on experience with Klaviyo

Must be knowledgeable with landing page tools

Must be familiar with Shopify

Experience with marketing automation including building decision trees and triggered emails.

Prior experience creating and deploying testing and optimization strategies for email.

Working knowledge of design programs such as Photoshop or Canva

Familiarity with SMS marketing a plus

Good attention to detail.
