JOB TITLE: Director Mining Aftermarket - US DATE: 7/29/20PLANT/DEPARTMENT: Mining DIRECTED BY: VP MiningIMPORTANT WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: Customers, Sales team, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, ILS, Accounting, QualityDIRECTS: Field Service Technicians, Parts Sales CorrespondentsPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: Proactively drive performance of Cannon Mining parts and service business, meeting safety, quality, schedule, and financial goals, while providing superior support and uptime to customers.MAJOR DUTIES:Develop and effectively lead a strong team to execute the strategyDevelop a winning strategy to grow and protect our parts service businessFoster a culture of trust, growth, and empowermentKeep our word, honor our commitments to customers and suppliersPlan, schedule and manage all field service operationsFoster a culture of effective, methodical problem solving with permanent solutionsCollaborate with Supply Chain in establishing optimal inventory levels of stock partsEnsure prompt and accurate invoice preparation and collectionMaintain awareness of market trends related to customers and competitorsEnsure product feedback effectively flows from the field back to engineeringInvestigate and resolve warranty claimsEXPERIENCE PREFERRED/SPECIAL NOTES:Effective leadership, excellent communication, and superior customer service experienceSales professional with proven experience developing and executing winning strategiesFamiliarity with underground mobile equipment is a plusAbility to read and understand manufacturing and assembly drawings is a plusAbility to efficiently use productivity software such as ERP, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerpointPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Job often requires long hours of sitting/computer usageAbility to safely travel and work in underground mine settingsAbility to drive a service truck long distances and meet all safety requirementsEqual Opportunity Employer of Protected Veterans and Individuals with Disabilities/Affirmative Action Employer.We comply with Department of Labor Wage and Hour Division.
