full time medical assistant instructor (Mount Laurel, NJ)

We have an opening in Mount Laurel for a Medical Assistant Instructor. This is an in-person teaching position, and not online. The ideal candidate will have exceptional medical & customer service skills, public speaking ability and a strong attention to detail.

Qualified applicants must be well organized and have the following to be considered for a teaching position:

Teaching experience is helpful, but not required, although a strong desire to see adult students succeed is!

A minimum of 5 years experience as a Medical Assistant or Patient Care Technician in a physician's office, urgent care, or hospital setting

Certifications: MA, EKG, PCT, Phlebotomy (if you are not certified, you must become certified within 90 days)

Detailed knowledge of anatomy & physiology, phlebotomy, EKG interpretation, pharmacology, and other clinical skills.

Instructors are required to lecture, provide demonstrations of techniques, assess hands-on skills and advise students on academic progress.

Must be professional in all aspects of the position including appearance and attitude.

Effective communication, interpersonal and oral presentation skills.

A positive attitude towards change as our school grows!

This is a full time, 8:00 – 5:00, M-F, year-round position.

This position does NOT require a teaching certification. If you are experienced in the field, hold the above qualifications and would like to share your knowledge with adult students who are seeking to start a new career, we want to talk to you!
