Lead Teacher (Bend, OR)

We offer programs in math, reading, writing, HW, Study Skills, SAT/ACT Prep, Speed Reading, Academic Coaching, STEM, Distance-Learning School Support and more! Want to work in an engaging educational environment and make a significant impact on the students in our community? Sylvan of Bend and NWX is looking for a lead teacher to add to our team!

As a lead teacher, you will:

-Teach, motivate, and encourage students (in-person) with school work and/or Sylvan curriculum

-Develop rapport with students to establish an engaging and safe learning environment that boosts confidence

-Use technology to enhance the learning environment

-Record daily student lessons and communicate regularly with admin staff

-Open/close center and provide necessary updates to students’ educational learning plans

Requirements:

-Teaching license (okay if recently expired)

-Available the majority of hours between 8am-4pm on Monday-Friday (additional hours available for qualified candidate)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
