-Responsible for performing mechanical repairs and troubleshooting on AC/DC traction motors and generators-Rebuild and replace parts-Use power tools including impact guns, wrenches and grinders-Electrical troubleshooting of wires and replacement of coils-Perform visual inspection, electrical testing using calipers, micrometers and multi-metersResponsible for interpreting customer orders and winding different electrical motors-Perform basic winding using datasheets/established procedures-insulation techniques, winding, connecting and shaping coils-Measure and fabricate insulating materials-Must be able to interpret blueprints, create and work from accurate drawing & sketches, work from oral instructions-In Process testingTrain on 1st shift for 1-2 months 6:30am-3pm(1) 2nd shift opening- 3pm-11:30pm(1) Rotating Shift: switches between 1st and 2nd every other monthWill train under their Master Tester almost as an apprentice, to learn the ins and outs of the business. He plans on leaving in about 3 years and want to get him to train whoever up to his skill set.
