We have a full-timeopportunity for a field contract administrator to support the construction of wastewater infrastructureprojectslocated in and around the City of San Francisco.

The Field Contract Administratorsupports the Owner in the administration of the construction management process, including the following:

Supports the Resident Engineer by managing and administeringproject construction contracts as the “Owner Representative”

Maintains construction documentation and records.

Tracks and administers the development, negotiation, and processing of construction contract change orders

Interfaces with the Engineer of Record (EOR) and construction contractor for the developent and negotiation of change orders.

Reports on project progress to the Owner.

Oversees contract closeout to ensure that all administrative and contractual requirements are met.

About You

You are a professional with technical expertise as well as strong communications skillswhich will allow you to effectively and creditably communicate complex technical issues with our clients. You have significant experience on public works utilityinfrastructure projects.

You have an entrepreneurial spirit, and are self-motivated and passionate about your work.

Qualifications

At least ten (10) years of recent experience in construction contract management on large and complex engineering/construction projects;

Recent experience in an alternative project delivery method such as Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC) project delivery method;

Served in a lead role for contract management/administration on a project with features similar to those of a water or wastewater treatment facility with a value over $75 million in the past ten (10) years;

Experience in at least three (3) relevant, verifiable heavy civil/industrial type projects;

Construction experience on projects similar to those of a water or wastewater treatment facility is preferred;

A baccalaureate degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or relevant discipline from an accredited institution;

Registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of California is desirable; and

Certification as a Certified Construction Manager is desirable
