PART TIME ORGANIC FARM and NON-PROFIT ASSISTANT (SUMMERLAND)

Do you enjoy food, farming, education and serving others? Do you have a passion for organically grown food? Apply to join our growing team at Sweet Wheel Farm & Flowers, serving the Summerland and Santa Barbara areas. Our goal is to be a long-term solution to the food desert in Summerland, and provide educational resources for sustainable agriculture. We are partnering with the Carpinteria Unified School System to provide students with our farms' educational arm.

We have a for-profit farm carts and products; AND a non-profit educational and organic think tank.

We are looking for an efficient big thinker in organics, farming and baked goods and sustainable products; and ability to communicate with a wide variety of workers in our organization from farmers to entrepreneurs.

Skills needed include computer and scheduling, running errands, hiring and interfacing with attorneys, interfacing with professionals on a variety of tasks, coordinating volunteers, and other aspects of our business.
