Maintenance Technicician with Growth Potential (Provincetown)

PPM is a growth-minded business. Looking for someone that is handy with attention to detail and must be able to lead a team if necessary to assist the business in running more efficiently. Must also have the ability to identify new opportunities quickly, be able to multitask and is adaptable.

Job Summary:

Responsibilities and Duties:

-Property Inspections of the interior and exterior components of our properties, painting, light carpentry, cleaning common area halls, snow removal, landscaping, and manual labor.

-On-call responsibilities (typically every 3-4 weeks). Must be capable of responding to emergency situations after hours and on weekends.

-Must be able to provide a detailed description of the work performed to the Maintenance Dept. each day

Qualifications and Skills:

-The ability to diagnose and repair maintenance issues or propose solutions to management when needed.

-Must be comfortable with a tablet and online programs to process inspections & work orders in a timely fashion.

-Experience working for a property management company or condominium community is a plus.

-Must be polite and capable of communicating effectively with customers and staff members.

-The ability to prioritize a full work load on a regular basis with attention to detail.

-Willingness and preparedness to exceed with potential growth into a managerial roll.

Must Haves:

-Live within or very close to town to respond to properties within 30 minutes of being dispatched when on-call.

-A reliable vehicle.

-Candidate will need to pass a thorough background check.
