    Summary

    This position is located with the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Superintendent, Wind River Agency in Fort Washakie, Wyoming.

    Qualifications

    The following shows the amounts of education and/or experience required to qualify for positions covered by this standard.GS-02: 3 months of general experience OR high school graduate or equivalent.GS-03: 6 months of general experience OR One year above high school with courses related to forestry, agriculture, crop or plant science, range management or conservation, wildlife management, watershed management, soil science, natural resources (except marine fisheries and oceanography), outdoor recreation management, civil or forest engineering or wildland fire science. No more than 3 semester hours in mathematics is creditable.GENERAL EXPERIENCE: (1) Any type of work that demonstrates the applicant's ability to perform the work of the position, or (2) experience that provided a familiarity with the subject matter or processes of the broad subject area of the occupation. Can be evidenced by farming or ranching work that involved application of cultural, soil and water conservation practices, including safety and use of equipment, and that provided a basic understanding of land use; or forest or range fire control, prevent on, or suppression work.All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement.

    Merit Promotion candidates must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the announcement closing date.
