Analyst, ERM

Overview

PennyMac is a specialty financial services firm with a comprehensive mortgage platform and integrated business primarily focused on the production and servicing of U.

S. residential mortgage loans and the management of investments related to the U.S. mortgage market. The PennyMac structure includes a number of operational entities (Lending, Servicing and a Registered Investment Adviser) as well as investment vehicles (publicly traded REIT and private equity Funds).

Under the direction of ERM Management, the Analyst is responsible for maintaining an Excel and web-based platform for the Enterprise Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) program.

The Analyst will also assist in maintaining and updating the GRC platform modules. Responsibilities also include, developing and tracking key performance metrics, preparing various reporting views, gathering requirements, and organizing reporting for management.

Operational

Under the direction of ERM management, contribute to the maintenance of the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) program.

Document and manage user change requests, change logs, and assist users with questions, training and governance oversight.

Contribute to the administrative and configuration functions in the Company’s GRC tool.

Update models and metrics for measuring appropriate enterprise-level risks.

Assist in the development and maintenance of technical business requirements for the ERM program.

Produce reporting on the effectiveness of PennyMac’s risk and control environment.

Produce monthly ERM status and exception reports.

Take a role in developing and updating policies, procedures, process flows and charters to document PennyMac’s evolving governance processes.

Other

Complete special assignments necessary to support business strategy.

Ideal Candidate will have the following :

Technical

Proficient in Excel; knowledge of VBA and SQL is a plus, but not required

Familiarity with basic statistics

Finance, Economics, or Computer Science background preferred

Familiarity with mortgage banking, and mortgage related regulatory requirements is helpful
