Manufacturing Technician, Alameda, CA2-3 month contractTuesday-Thursday8 AM -5 PMAs a Manufacturing Technician on the Manufacturing team you will assist process & equipment engineers to prove & operate material handling equipment in the manufacturing environment.RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Immediately report emergencies, incidents, and near misses to the reporting manager

Safely operate material handling equipment & Perform batch runs.

Identify and correct small minor maintenance tasks on tools, & provide feedback to engineers.

Interact with HMI to operate complex material handling systems.

Work overtime hours if requested and approved by the manager.

Follow instructions from engineers for production, maintenance & cleaning tasks.

Housekeeping, Cleaning of the equipment & surrounding before & after use.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of 2 years of experience in the lab manufacturing environment.

Trade Qualification or higher with a focus in mechanical / chemical manufacturing is preferred.

1 year experience in cGMP or cGLP environment preferred

Ability to troubleshoot equipment.

Able to document and review data in multiple computer software programs

Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills

Trade Qualification or higher with a focus in mechanical / chemical manufacturing is preferred.

Experience working with powder / chemicals would be nice.
