Service Writer/Documentation Specialist (Essex Jct, VT)

Essex Equipment, a locally owned sales and rental company, is looking for a Service Writer to aid in the efficiency of our service department. This person would be responsible for opening, updating and closing work orders, submitting warranty claims and supporting the Service Manager with the operation of the service department. A qualified candidate would have:

-Technical background

-Computer proficient

-Experience in a service/parts department environment

-Customer interaction skills

-Exceptional follow-up skills

-Attention to detail

-Organizational skills

-Strong verbal and written communication skills

-Must be able to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment

We would consider the right candidate that can show past experience and knowledge with computers, is a fast learner, doesn't have a technical background but is willing to learn the process and gain the knowledge to excel in the position.
