Hiring Cooks, Servers & Server Assistants (Downtown - Five Points South)

Galley and Garden is now hiring server assistants for all shifts! We are an American fine-dining restaurant owned and operated by Executive Chef James Boyce.

Line Cook:

-Minimum 1 year of experience working in a upscale or fine dining restaurant.

-Must have an ability to follow instructions and recipes.

-Attention to detail and knowledge of proper plate presentation.

Server Responsibilities:

-Serve food and beverages to guests

-Understand and be able to explain menu items

-Greet and make all guests feel welcome at the restaurant

-Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely fashion

-Perform other restaurant duties as assigned

Server Qualifications:

-Previous experience in customer service, fine dining food service, or other related fields

(fine dining experience preferred but not required)

-Ability to build rapport with guests

-Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Server Assistant Responsibilities:

-Serve food and beverages to guests

-Prepare dining areas for service

-Bus and clear tables

-Perform other restaurant duties as assigned

Server Assistant Qualifications:

-1-2 years in food service (preferred but not required)

-Clean, professional appearance

-Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
