HCR Mail route Driver needed (Kingston, AR)
Arkansas, Fayetteville 00000 Fayetteville USA

Vacancy expired!

PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE AD BEFORE YOU CALL.

Our company runs an HCR mail route from Fayetteville, AR to Kingston, AR for the USPS. We are looking for a dependable driver to operate this route 6 days/week - (Monday-Saturday except Holidays). We would prefer the driver to live either in/around the Kingston area or mid-route (Goshen, Hindsville, Huntsville areas).

Trust me, if you currently live anywhere other than somewhere along this route - you don't want the job. Just don't call.

Here's why:

Driver must report to the truck lot in Fayetteville each morning at 3:40am. This route is performed in a 24-foot box truck. CDL is not required (but if you have one, great!) Driver pre-trips the truck and reports to the Fayetteville USPS P&DC to load the mail. After getting loaded, driver heads out; making stops and delivering bulk mail to Goshen, Hindsville, Huntsville, and Kingston Post Offices. Driver is off duty in Kingston around 5:55am. We do currently provide a shuttle car and fuel for the driver to get where they need to be during the day (home, side job, fishing hole, etc.) Driver remains off duty from 5:55am until 4:15pm. At that time, the driver reports back to the Kingston PO to load the outgoing mail, and start the route going back through Huntsville, Hindsville, Goshen; loading the day's outgoing mail at each stop and ultimately returning and unloading at Fayetteville P&DC at 6:05pm. Driver has time to commute to the truck lot, perform a post-trip inspection on the truck, and is off duty again at 6:30pm.

The route times equate to 4.50 hours/day or 27 hours/week.

Currently pays $21.60/hour plus $4.70/hour into a 401(k). Driver is off with pay on all 10 federal holidays. Vacation time accrues after 1 year of employment.

Requirements:

Must be at least 21 years of age

Clean background check

Clean driving record

Must have current DOT physical (if you don't have one or don't know what this is- Ask me)

Drug-free (we do random and pre-employment drug screens)

Reliable transportation

Reliable cell phone

Must be able to meet the schedule times - this route cannot be run early or late. It's the USPS. They want it ON TIME ALL THE TIME.

Basic auto/truck knowledge is appreciated but not required. We have a mechanic in charge of keeping the trucks running smoothly, but the driver may occasionally be asked to perform small maintenance jobs (such as replacing headlights/wipers) in order to expedite repairs.

If you've read this far and have no issues with these requirements, please give me a call at the number provided. Thank you!
