Warehouse Team Member Needed - Pick/Pack/Ship (Carpinteria)

Waxing Poetic is looking for the right person to join our team at our Corporate Office in Carpinteria. The ideal candidate should have experience in an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, retrieving stock, organizing and cleaning in the warehouse. We are looking for a detail oriented team player ready to grow with our team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

First quality product recognition and making sure that no tarnished or damaged pieces are sent out.

Checking items that have been received against invoice and QA guidelines.

Picking and packing jewelry in envelopes and boxes and checking the order for errors.

Shrink wrapping collateral and preparing for shipping.

Preparing items for kit assembly and shipping.

Maintaining an efficient and organized work area

Assisting Purchasing and Sampling team with paperwork and product tracking.

Qualifications:

Prompt and reliable

Quick learner and proactive worker

Ability to recognize and recall a range of products and brands

Positive can-do attitude and strong dedication to the team

Comfortable working in a fast-paced and demanding environment

Proactive approach with a self-starter attitude

Ability to meet goals and complete projects autonomously after given direction

Ability to lift 35 pounds

Strong attention to detail skills

Must have reliable form of transportation, and show up promptly Monday Through Friday, from 8AM to 2:30PM.
