Tree Service Laborer

Labor Finders is currently hiring highly motivated individuals for the Tree Service Laborer position for a reputable local company. This position is responsible for performing a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled landscape tasks including digging, carrying materials, wood chipping, landscape, and equipment operation; perform related work as required.

Essential Functions

Clears and back fills ditches and trenches for irrigation and drains

Digs and back fills holes for plants, trees, and shrubs

Performs handwork as necessary using a pick, shovel, rake, or other hand tools

Waters trees using a hose

Cleans drains, and tree wells

Operates powered equipment (e.g., auger, jack hammer, stake pounder)

Performs rough grading using a rake

Carries materials (e.g., sod, rocks, and plants)

Maintains tools and equipment to ensure safety

Applies fertilizer and planting tablets

Performs general clean up at the work site

Completes basic landscape maintenance activities

Connects irrigation and drainage pipe as instructed

Sets sod, sprinkler heads, non-sewage catch basins, and tree stakes

Role models PPE usage

Provides excellent service (e.g., accurate, complete, and timely) to clients, work-site partners, and Company staff in a courteous and efficient manner

Experience:

Hard working and team oriented

Reliable and have own transportation

Minimum of 2 years current experience

Must be clean cut and professional

Landscaping: 2 years (Preferred)

Planting: 2 years (Preferred)

Compensation: $15 per hour DOE
